Roy and I rented a tandem kayak and took a paddle out to Mercer Slough. Stupidly we opted not to use the rudder, thinking that the milfoil would wreak havoc with it. Note for next time...use the rudder! We couldn't track in this thing for crap!

We still had a great time, though. Cricket (the Garmin) didn't get a signal right away (which is why it shows us starting in the middle of the water). The lake was pretty calm; very few boats on it. Saw some AMAZING homes, and lots of wildlife. It's amazing that right in the middle of the city is this natural oasis.
