Roy and I rented a tandem kayak and took a paddle out to Mercer Slough. Stupidly we opted not to use the rudder, thinking that the milfoil would wreak havoc with it. Note for next time...use the rudder! We couldn't track in this thing for crap! We still had a great time, though. Cricket (the Garmin) didn't get a signal right away (which is why it shows us starting in the middle of the water). The lake was pretty calm; very few boats on it. Saw some AMAZING homes, and lots of wildlife. It's amazing that right in the middle of the city is this natural oasis.

This blog is to highlight all that is running in my life. Oh, and maybe a little swimming, cycling, the odd kayak trip, hiking, trail running, skiing if I take that up and just about everything physical (except that...get your mind out of the gutter).
