It was FREEZING tonight as I ran home. Traffic was a bear so my commute took about 45 minutes (for 16 miles). SO frustrating. Then when I started running I was having major back spasms, so kept having to stop until I loosened up.
Once loosey goosey I felt fine! Ran a little detour, though. There's an area on this route where there is no shoulder on either side of the road and it's skeery! Cars are inches from me as I sneak along. Used to be hardly anyone took that road, but now it's gotten busier. So I was trying to find another route that would take me out onto the road beyond that little shoulderless stretch. Somehow I got completely turned around and ended up back on the road I left from, thinking I was on the road I was headed to. Totally confuzzled me!
Fortunately I figured it out, but still had to run sans shoulders, full of prayers "pleaseJesusdon'tletthatcarknockmeintoaditch. Thanks!" So my map is a little wonkster.
Had a stressful phone call after work today. YOu know, normally my life is relatively stress free. I honestly think that God is trying to tell me to chill out and stop being on my high horse over things. "Oh, you like how things are going? Well here's some stress!" So another stressy day followed by a run that "ahhhhhhhhhhhed" it away. Thank the lord, seriously, for running.
